  1. If they're going to be making these AI first computers does that mean I can finally get rid of co-pilot on my windows 11 PC? Because that would be great. If I never have to deal with AI again it will be far too soon.

  2. I am reading through the privacy comments and smh! Our data is out there to be found at any moment, NOTHING you do on your computer or on the internet ever completely goes away.
Think about it, AI capabilities are really a way for less savvy tech users to find their “deleted” data. Something that any company, hacker can get in seconds. I say that this is leveling the playing field.

I thought of it like the gun laws, right? Anyone can get one, if they have the street smarts. It’s only those who do not that follow the “laws” to get one. Same concept, my 2 cents.

My only worry is that my non tech savvy spouse can now recall the history! 😂

  3. Anyone know any computer brands that are not going to use AI? I don’t want it on my computer and if I did want it on my computer, I would not accept it from any corporations it would need to be a self custody AI.

  4. Nah, switched to linux, been on the edge already wanting to switch to linux but recall pushed me to fully switch. In its base form, its not a bad idea and its cool. But it just has a lot of privacy concerns. If someone gains access to your system, they can just leverage recall and collect even more data like ur credit card, ssn, passwords, etc. And in the future, knowing microsoft and big tech companies, they will most likely change it where it will be on the cloud, or harvest data, or whatever. I dont trust big tech companies

  5. We have been down this road before. Many times. At some point we will likely find out that the data is being used and is going to the cloud. BTW It isn't hard to have data used offline being sent to the cloud once you go back online. For me I will wait for truth to come out on this.

  6. Hi Matt. It looks like Ai game assistant will soon become a fair advantage in the game or unfair to someone who does not have it. The problem is that changing a motherboard is expensive and probable does not worth the investment at this moment. I foresee that we will see new add on cards with Ai chip very soon on the market. Do you agree?

  7. this new Copilot Pc with snapdragon cpu are a big step forward in hardward, but the AI functions are not complete. We can use Cortana to do actions in pc and we can use Chatgpt to chat and ask help in everything we see in monitor, but Cortana is an old AI and cannot know the context of a request, we must use a very strict language to do actions. Chargpt understand context and we can ask him without precision but is not allowed to do actions on pc. So these new pc are only a step, a big step but incomplete, few people use Cortana, so we cannot use AI to say computer what to do. It is not so different to open a chat to chatgpt site, but no action on conputer. I'm waiting the day when I will ask "computer, change my wallpaper to a moon image" or "send all emails from my friend John to trash"

  8. As a professor, I thought the’ designer in PowerPoint would be very helpful. Fairly quickly, I saw what a transparent gimmick it was and I knew my students wouldn’t take this seriously.
I quickly developed a few slide masters and just stick with those. It’s the content, not the cg that matters.

  9. cant wait to live in a world where most work is done digitally and your jobs company can pretty much track and spy on every single employee and have ai rate them to see who gets fired.
