  1. Sounds like BS. How does this alert the staff when the thief doesn’t put the goods in a bag, but just walks out with it in-hand? You still have to confront the thief just like without the β€œAI” tech. I believe there is a relationship between the store owner and the Veesion owner. This changes nothing. It’s just another useless gimmick that doesn’t address the real problem.

  2. It's funny because most of the costs and drawbacks to customers is due to greedy CEOs and other people at the top of the companies leaching out money.

Which is of course raises the price of living and leads to people not having enough money to pay for groceries.

Funny how they try to twist the narrative

  3. I don’t know if all that is going to help if they don’t make stronger laws is never going to change they go to jail for a few days and then they come back out and do it again but we need a stronger law

  4. How about if we see the 13% we use this? I don’t see how it’ll affect the rest of us law abiding citizens. We already know who’s the ones that steal πŸ‰ ✊🏿

  5. YOU πŸ‘ DONT πŸ‘ NEED πŸ‘ AI πŸ‘ YOU πŸ‘ NEED πŸ‘ TO πŸ‘ PROSECUTE πŸ‘ CRIMES πŸ‘ DEMOCRATS πŸ‘ GET πŸ‘ PAID πŸ‘ BY πŸ‘ SOROS πŸ‘ TO πŸ‘ NOT πŸ‘ PROSECUTE πŸ‘ TO πŸ‘ CAUSE πŸ‘ CRIME

STOP VOTING DEMOCRAT THIS ISNT 1995

  6. Who can argue with a 50% reduction though? Even if they aren’t prosecuted they’ll be much less likely to steal at this store and also more wary elsewhere. And if non-stealing customers don’t have to deal with locked cabinets and higher prices to compensate for crime it’s a win for them.

  7. If they move beyond this to facial recognition and then keep a database of all the shoplifters. Then they can just not let them into the store to begin with…

  8. Good idea but just so you know : If they put something in there purse or pocket, that is not a crime. And if you stop them at tha door and they dumped it where your new AI idea did not filmed them dumping it before they walked out of tha store, that is a lawsuit πŸ™

They have to walk out of tha store with it and you have to film them tha whole time, just saying πŸ™

  9. Nice technology. But how about we just cut the crap and keep all the items in the warehouse, and have the customers pick up cards in place of items that are brought to checkout. It is already done for expensive items at Office Depot in my area.

In the near future they should have items quickly dispensed by automation after they are paid for. We are way behind on this. People cannot think that they can just casually steal, and then cast suspicion on everyone else who is just trying to shop.

  10. Almost like the technology needed a reason to be used like mafia protection,,,,,they have a product no one needs,,then ,create the problem,,,have you in fear ,, ,then supply the product as citizens in fear. The ol,,,, solution ,problem,,game πŸ˜…πŸ˜…,,,,remember pre technology,,,crime was low when shop owner could be armed πŸ˜…thats the solution they don't want you to realize,,,,,😊
