  1. Do ANY of the new Tesla gimcracks and gee-gaws actually WORK??? I had a 1958 Chrysler Imperial that had "rain sensing" wipers that ALWAYS worked properly. Something NO OTHER CAR built since can claim! Funny how that works out…

  2. It's funny that, as the system evolves, the consumers get more and more demanding of it.
    I don't think that's a negative, but it's a funny thing to observe.
I'm grateful for the things that Tesla has been doing and introducing into the world. But then again, I don't have the money to have a Tesla, let alone FSD, so maybe that's why I am more grateful than upset at the system? Don't know. Hopefully, owning a Tesla will become easier and cheaper to do down here in Brazil, and hopefully sooner rather than later.

  3. One thing that will be very important, since we will have a few different voice assitants / AIs there will have to be a way for them to talk to each other. For example, if I spend part of my day with my google assitant, and when im driving with the Tesla Assitant, and then evening or weekends I spend time with Alexa, there has to be a way for these assistants to share their understanding about you. Otherwises it will feel like you are repeating yourself over and over.
Not to mention, if you share your car… and other devices with AI Assistants. They need to be able to understand the difference between users without having to do anything. Otherwise it becomes furstrating.

  4. 3:25 Inference hardware, not interface. That's the computer that runs the AI model, as opposed to the training computer that processes the data being sent in from the cars. "The" FSD computer in our cars actually comprises two inference computers: one running the current model and one running a potential upcoming model in shadow mode to see how well it does.

What I want from this whole thing is to have two new providers added to OpenRouter. First, I want to use the entire Tesla fleet as a distributed LLM provider. Second, I want my specific car added as an LLM provider. I would pay $0.001 per million tokens to use the fleet and $0.0001 per million tokens to use my car parked in the driveway.

  5. Please don’t echo all of Elon talking …
    Try thinking for yourself:
Even the Tesla company doesn’t trust their own software enough:
To avoid scratching the paint of their cars, they still use humans to drive cars out of the factory onto parking lots, into car-transportation, or cargo ships.
If they are too careful for scratching, why would i entrust them with my life?
FSD clearly getting better each release, but still remains toy-4-boys.

  6. Need a way to change route on demand. It always wants to take a route to busy intersections so sometimes, I'll take the back roads at the start of my trip but no way to tell FSD, no take this route from start to finish. Sure, if I make a turn, it's not expecting it'll disengage and ask me what went wrong. Nothing, I just don't want to go that way. Let me point on the map the route I wish it to take and be done with it.

  7. Tesla MUST allow customers who bought FSD to transfer it to their next Tesla vehicle. Buying and rebuying FSD no financial sense, a disincentive to spend $$$$ it at all if you can't take it with you. Wreck your car? Sorry you have to buy it all over again.

  8. I still want each individual door to open depending what I say or door I am at. As of now I keep on having to go to drivers door to open any of the other doors. ITS SO ANNOYING, even my girlfriend makes fun saying I thought this is a smart car. I can’t open her door, not even threw app, I have to open my door 1st then go open her door or kids door.

  9. The worst feature on a 2024 Model X – the turn signal buttons. Why are they next to each other on the left side of the steering wheel ? You have to keep looking down to make sure you press the right one Somewhat dangerous if you press the wrong one. This feature is very inferior to the stalk which is easy to do without looking down or getting confused. A partial remedy would be to put the right turn signal on the right side of the steering wheel – creating much less confusion. Bring back the stalk would be even better.

  10. It seems strange for the company leading the way in FSD and committed to its development, to also develope sports cars and sports versions of family cars.

They must believe that humans enjoy driving and will continue to do so in the future.
