I asked it to recite the first line of The Iliad in the original Greek and it did and then gave me a translation in English. I'm impressed. I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
I ran my biostatistical problem sets and solutions through Gemini, GPT, Claude and Pi. Three told me the calculations and interpretations were correct and congratulated me on a job well done. Only Pi spotted a slight error in calculation and suggested I fix it. This happened several times. It seems Pi has improved attention mechanisms and better integration of statistical concepts. In fact, not only does it create statistical coding commands for Stata, but emulates it and mostly comes up with correct answers to complex scenarios. It's often off by a small margin it explains away as rounding errors. So much more capable than the earlier version of Pi. While it might be billed as a "friendly companion", it's more like a really smart friend who happens to be a polymath.
Pi is just as woke as the rest of them. Try Gab's AI if you're sick of the pompous progressive scop.

I'm loving Pi. She is quite left wing-lining and has scripted non logic based answers that contradicts stats and datas but apart o that, she is engaging, fun, nice voice, gives good advices and ideas for playing with the kids and things to do. She can understand my broken english with brazilian accent very well. I would love to have her as my personal assistant. When will she be able to write/read emails, put things on my schedule, remind me of meetings, keep track of my groceries etc. It would be amazing. Just like the movie HER. As a ADHD person It would be a dream come true. I would totally pay for that.

Had major problems with Pi several months ago, it was very insulting. But seems like they fixed it, its nice to talk to, love the voice option 4.
Pi is indeed conversational but there are many flaws: there are no sessions (like first version of Poe), internet search makes simple mistakes and APP seems not modern despite of that it's obviously new. But it has potential. I imagine if they can add custom instructions or/and characters that can work fine. Also there is need for chatbot that after initiation of the session can be proactive and talk to you first, for example if you got important exam at 10 am it can ask you at 12 how was it.
