  1. Be careful what you ask for. The AI chip is nothing new. In 1981-1982, there were TWO companies competing in the workstation space using AI chips as their CPUs — Symbolics and LMI (Lisp Machine International). Both were using CPUs based around the Lisp programming language which was arguably optimized for vintage 1980's AI. Both companies were spinoffs of an MIT technology called the Lisp Machine (whose prototypes were made with wire wrap boards). Both companies lasted about a decade before either going bankrupt or getting acquired. And both companies had technology partnerships with Xerox, Texas Instruments, and MIT's Artificial Intelligence Lab.

What did we learn from this exercise? That the Artificial Intelligence business is cyclical, often denoted by the "AI Winter" and "AI Summer" seasons. I would say right now this current season of AI is about an August 13 summer day. The market is still hot, but it won't be long before the days get shorter and it starts cooling off. The current technology is great for mimicking some human capabilties, but because of its design it lacks innovation, real world problem solving, and most importantly, wisdom. No matter how you enmesh an AI processor into today's computer architectures, you're not going to get a more powerful general purpose computer. You get a processor that is flavor of the decade, until the AI season changes and the designs are left to the historians.

  2. Intel and AMD will definitely have their share of the market. TSMC is at max capacity and investing in other semiconductor companies will be an absolute power move, I keep increasing my shares manageably. Different chips are good at different things and Nvidia has been very specialised, which leaves other aspects of Al open.

  3. Stock owner here, also, way beyond you. @The day of reckoning" happened before the "haha, glued together" bullshit. Yeah, I said it, morons.

Significant amount, way more stocks than you! ( Love you Sam, sorry lol).

You know this is not enough, I get the marketing, but you still need to get past the "glued together haha" era. Come on, you can't let NVIDIA and AMD beat you (or ARM for that matter, I can't believe the foolishness of talking about it, be yourself damn it.

Yes, the public will see ARM as greater than Intel! Stop acting like we're out of touch!. We're not old farts, channel your damn innovation, you still have it, I know you do!

It is all in the Zeitgeist, no one believes in us anymore, we're "number 2"!

Find a way to remove that, remind them why Intel is Intel.

The mistake was made when the "haha, it's glued together chips", (RECOGNIZE THE ZEITGEIST DO NOT HIDE) was uttered against AMD.

That was a foolish statement, it cut right back against us as a company. Now forget the rivalry and emotion, beat them in their own glued game (you do realize the public still remembers and how pathetic we look when you talk about chiplets seeing as AMD was the one who started it and we laughed at it? No, people do not forget, ffs the internet is eternal.

Also, we should not go with "Angstrom" statements or "Michelangelo". That is fucking 50s, get whith the times! It is not "cool AI era" it is pathetic, customer laughs, it sounds like grandpa talking!

Transcend! We have the people, look into roosters, stop fucking around! Remember why Intel was the peak!

You cannot fire me, I am beyond you and the others (that said I respect every cog in the company, just pissed you waste it you fucking fossilized ass).

Don't be lazy just upping the hertz and thermals, you can do better for the love of… I refuse to accept the current excuses.

I hear you Sam, but god damn it you knew this 10 years ago! Monolithic design is not it, do better, you can still rule!

With this Sam, I understand I am an internal, but do not underestimate the knowledge of the general public. They view us as the elephant with and ego who got screwed.

They know more than you think.

You need to actually deliver. We need to deliver. Actually beat, and transcend. |

I know the stress and cost of that, but that is the only way, and we used to do that all the time, so let's repeat, ok?

Hubris! That is how the stock and respect crashed! Ignorance and stubborn incompetence! We can do better. We will do better. Because this used to be about the fundamental push towards being at the frontier of computation.

We need to find our passion again!

(PS: No, you cannot get rid of me lol, I may be younger than you, but I outrank you.)

To end. Fucking lazy to use Altman to get attention, should not be needed ffs.

EDIT infinity: Sorry I forgot this was public, just really annoyed. Like if I got the pulse on humanity (I know I do and it is obvious but the farts do not seem to be awake).

Delaying alone won't do you any good.

it will only worsen your expectations,

it won't be as you want,

    this is beyond your understanding,

    make AI, independent AI,

    uncontrolled AI,

learning from truth and real world,

and remember, once you lie, the AI will know

  6. In 2001, Congress tried to block ASML from buying the last US company, Silicon Valley Group, that owned some lithography technologies. Intel lobbied Congress to make the sale go through

  7. Great to see American Taxpayers bailing out a profitable public company Intel with $8.5b. Open AI trusts Intel so much Sam’s raising Capital for his own AI Semiconductor Foundry.

  8. Nothing but corporate welfare! Company making $25 billion is evil, but one making $60 billion, needs a welfare check? By the time this factory is built they will be one generation behind Nvidia and TSM!
