  1. Brave is not a good search engine. They have a good browser but not search engine. Also when you know what you are looking for is much better to use a search engine than ai. Ai is somewhat good for in depth stuff imo, not for searching.

  2. What you are offering is literally helping in real life. I would be delighted if we could collab and i could make you the face of a dating series i am designing. (Ps – it will be paid offc)

  3. None of the LLM know about Sveltekit 1 and up. That"s the main reason I stopped sveltekit and switched to Django for backend, still love Svelte 3 for frontend.

  4. I like to use AI as a teacher, a tool to walk thru something very technical or an efficient search engine (I use gemini pro). I have a rule though that I must type out everything that it gives me; no copy paste. Unless I asked it something like generate a massive list of synonyms or something that is grunt work.

  5. I only use AI to discuss some technical solutions and algorithms I want to implement, etc. And it is only in special cases when I am dealing with a new thing, when I work alone and don't have any solid references, OR, when I run out of options (after discussing with colleagues, reading some books/documentation, and online forums). I never use these code completion tools. It is a different case when you place AI in its place as your partner to DISCUSS something and as a "completion" tool that will make you a dumb brainless developer.

  6. oi nerd you left out bing copilot, built into Microsoft edge (god's favorite web browser). up until recently it gave you free gpt 4 but it got nerfed to 2k limit and mostly gpt3.5 unless you pay em 20 a month, but its still the best AutoGoogler ive used. finally was able to swap to linux thanks to it
