  1. My s24 ultra is connected to my bud pro 3's, my galaxy watch 7 ultra, and my ring. I have Bixby and google assistance available for free all the time, hands-free. Everything this thing claims it can do I literally already do with my phone. Just like with it I don't have to look at anything if I don't want I can just listen to one of my AI's talk to me. If I need a quick screen I use my watch and if I need more I pull out my phone. This device would be amazing if it had come out in year 2000.

  2. My Galaxy Watch 6 Classic 47mm is way cheaper, connects to my Galaxy S24 Ultra, can install and run many apps, and so on. It just does so much more than what the AI Pin will never be able to do.

  3. It's a piece of flea market junk, I mean that metaphorically, the tech is not ready, that price is probably the ONLY reason you won't see one of these end up at a garage sale because whoever pays that much is not going to be ready to call it a failure, they won't want to believe it.

  4. maybe this would work better as an accessory to a phone more than a replacement, theyd obviously have to remove the subscription completely OR theyd have to make it work completely offline

  5. To be fair to the product, arun's accent with hindi could be hard to interpret for a human, no offense, arun, everyones got ways to go on some stuff, but I cant in good consious chalk 'translation being bad' to manufacturer's fault without seeing it in action with a more fluent speaker
Edit: Otherwise I found the video to be critical and honest though

  6. The fact that Imran is captioned despite no signs of mumbling or slurring or anything makes it seem like Arun thinks that anyone who can't talk like a newscaster is unintelligible

  7. It might not have been so awkward as a smartwatch. Sophisticated AI "virtual assistant" software embedded in a smartwatch, that could also have its face flip up to project onto a surface..
I'd pay for that, if it also included the features of current smart watches.

  8. Not all for consumer market but it can be a compliment to your existing smartphone. Maybe the security industry or industry where having a device on your hand is a safety issue.

  9. I think the thing we need to remember, is we're looking at it based on the current level of tech. But, compare our current smartphone tech to when they first came out (not even the iphone, but its predecessors). This is pretty much a prototype, i wouldnt get one myself, and i know a lot of people wont justify the price for something with its limits. But in a few generations, it might become the replacement for the smartphone

  10. Welcome to the wonderful world of tethered devices. Your amazon kindle is one. Your amazon echo or similar is one. Most of your smart home gadgets are paperweights if the parent company folds up or decides to cut support. Anything that requires cloud support to work basically is a hanging by a silk thread, even if the supplier doesn't charge extra. Isn't the future great? Turns out the pessimists wer closer to the mark yet again.

  12. Thay should add a screen and a strap so you can wear it on your wrist, and have it connected to your phone to show notifications and calls, thay could even add sensors to monitor your health.

  13. Having to wear the ai on your chest simply means perfectly supplying ai the full and clear images of your every day life, the eye in the front of the camera can be used by hacker to lead them to accumulating information around your environment without you knowing.
First it was a camera blink snap,
Now they need more, videos lenthy videos..
    Crazy exposure.
It means if you wear that gadget around your house for 31 days, yould have giving out much information to the AI,than what you're getting from him.. be careful..
