It's kinda scary when you realize how fast this new industry scaled up, to the point that the barrier of entry is already pretty much as high as possible that only a handful of mega giant tech corporations can even compete, and even them need sometimes to pull their shared resources together. A long time ago I was involved in selling data centers. There was a growing trend to move thses DC's outside the ring roads of major cities because of the limitted access to power in the city cores. So it's not hard to believe that running so many AI processing units in one location would be hard to achieve if they were in the wrong location. However, I don't think the grid would be brought down. It's more likely the data center with the excessive load that was being applied to the grid, would be shut down or limitted before it affected the grid.

Just imagine what happens when they train models on a ginat rack of Nvidia Blackwell chips.

Claude is just miles ahead of GPT4. I can give just the free version some figures from my R output and it can interpret them, at a very deep level, and then basically write a publication around those figures and a few citations for methods. I wish it had Web search, or at least a scientific database search… but otherwise, it is very good. The first model I have tried where vision is consistently excelent and does not hallucinate.

The question is why did these top people swap boats? If it’s just money, that’s shit for humanity. To base your swap on more cash when you are probably rolling in it is a red flag surely? Shouldn’t these highly clever programmers be gravitating to the companies with the most concerns about Ai?

Curiously? Would you be willing to ask Claude, AI GBT, and Gemini 1.5 to build models on how to implement systems for all of humanity?

An example would "Hey Claude. build a model of how your system can move into the medical system effectively and efficiently"? Like how will we inform people once AGI is online to help them heal healthily with the genetic understood and individual information to help them heal quickly? How will we adjust the medical and Educational Systems in different neighborhoods and Implement them? Etc, etc..

Sometimes you can do a poll to see what people want a model built off of and then maybe ask the systems to help help build the model? Then there's an extra after the models built can you ask the system if there's any revisions it can offer that you may not have thought about?

This is just a suggestion, but it'd be interesting to see how many interpretations we get from different systems and how many broad spectrums we can get on how AI systems get to AGI and Implement them across the world of the earth!
