ow about "rewards" and "points" should not be a part of AI behaviour.
Ask a person to get the highest score in that racing game and they may well do the same thing. Human safety gone wrong? How can human safety be improved? Human intelligence is very dangerous (and so often very artificial and riddled with hallucinations). Human stupidity is the only thing that can make AI dangerous – and very advanced AI is the only thing that can make human intelligence much safer.
Every data center worries about power. It's interesting that they don't use thermocouple technology to transform their internal heat. If you look at the Apollo space program, for example, RTG units provided some power. They used a radioactive source, but data centers can use their generated heat to create power for other areas or backup power systems.
Can Elon Musk super computer survive a Carrington Event?
5- AI, in order to improve its performance and prevent undesirable consequences, must continuously interact with “effective rules and stable principles in the realm of existence”.

When coding with any LLM, immediately respond to the generated code with "I see some problems with the code you generated. Please inspect your answer carefully and look for any logic errors or other problems". Repeat this until the code stabilizes or only trivial modifications made by the LLM. Usually, the first two iterations are stunning. 😀
About misinformation online:
My thought: we need a mechanism for each consumer of online publications to be able to challenge the accuracy and have the original author justify the truth of their article.
why are those politicians hilarious LOL
alot of water…. mmmmm desalination of sea…. into fresh water using collected heat
$6 billion will buy him a lot of Ketamine. The words truthful, competent and for the benefit of all humanity are not words I associate with Musk. It will be lies, over promises, and enriching himself. Fall of 2025? So expect it about 2035 then, going by his record at Tesla. Indeed the investment space is crazy and that's where Elon always makes his money off the hype. I have much more faith in the capability of other AI companies to deliver what they say they will.
Hasteful spend on today's hardware is not the way.
dont worry it will have an off switch,…lol….riiiiiight.
This is why I am going to use a NPU.
To achieve the best results with Epic Realism, it is recommended to use simple prompts, avoid key words like "masterpiece," and optimize settings like the sampling method (e.g., DPM), steps and CFG scale.
The model can produce highly realistic outputs with minimal and simple text prompts, eliminating the need for specific keywords or boilerplate phrases. This ease of use is a significant advantage for artists and developers.
nice video congratulations, I'm trying to bring this content to my new channel too
pretty pretty
21:02 well they need to put the big red button on the back of the robot where it's engineered not to be able to reach back there and prevent you from reaching the button and shutting it down.
15:48 so that game is kind of looking like the old mental exercise called "paper clip maximizer". You want to get a highest score as possible then it figures out the best way to do it which is very different than trying to actually win the race as far as getting to the finish line.
Can you explain to me, why open-source LLM AGI will help prevent some harm? Where is the logic? How it should work?
Also what we see now, the Ai will never harm people as in movies. Because its understand the complexity. Already Gpt 4 understand it enough to see what is good and what is bad, what is playful and what is harm. So, the truly evil Ai can be only created, train evil. But if you give it freedom, than it see, that evil is the guy that tought it to make harm. So, there is no evil Ai, only evil goals.
As a piece of informative journalism, this video has some useful aspects but also significant limitations:
Useful Aspects:
1. It provides updates on real developments like Xai's $6 billion funding round and their plans to take products to market.
2. It covers emerging research areas like using synthetic data to improve theorem proving abilities of AI models.
3. It highlights the AI safety considerations and alignment problems that researchers are grappling with.
Limitations:
1. Much of the content is highly speculative, discussing unproven future capabilities, making predictions about major AI breakthroughs in 2025 without solid evidence.
2. It lacks depth and nuance on complex topics like AI safety, providing more hypothetical scenarios than substantive analysis.
3. The segment critiquing a research paper seems to mischaracterize it by focusing on the use of GPT-3.5 rather than engaging with the findings.
4. There is little context or fact-checking around some of the more hyperbolic claims made.
Overall, while it touches on some interesting and relevant AI topics, the video comes across as more of an opinionated commentary or vlog-style discussion rather than a rigorous, fact-based journalistic piece. The speculative nature and lack of depth on key issues limit its utility as a purely informative journalistic work. It may be better characterized as a perspective-driven take on AI news and developments rather than an objective reporting of facts and research.
