First it was ChatGPT, then Copilot and now Devin. Every new AI tool claims to replace developers. What do you think about this? 1. I am currently working in Identity & access management domain and I feel AI can make things little better but not going to replace the IAM Engineer jobs.

We are only making company ensure that their User Identity data is safe & secure and they are securely able to login into differnet types of applications.

  2. Lets say there are 5 thousand developers. Now, after the company starts using DevAi, that number will get reduced to 3 thousand, which is a big thing, and as time goes by, that number will get reduced. 🤷🏻‍♂️

  3. Well said, I think similar way. I am using ChatGPT and GPT based tools for 6 months or so, also using Github Co-pilot with IntelliJ for couple of months.
Wishing AI should kept in some limit, not take it to in that extent when you will be driven by AI instead you drive the AI tools. #sci_fi_movies

  4. What's intriguing is our approach to marketing Devin, despite the fact that none of us actually use Devin in our daily work. The real question is whether our children or anyone else really needs to go to college if Devin is going to handle everything. If colleges can't generate revenue because Devin is now the programmer, teacher, and lawmaker, then we have a significant problem. What does that mean for our children? I believe Devin is overhyped, as many businesses still don't use AI and there aren't enough AI developers to meet the demand. It feels like we're providing free advertising just to shut down what was already established.

  5. Ultimately the team size will be reduced and productivity will be increased so lets say you have 10 software engineers needed for a team now you need 4 only..

  6. This is wrong..am thinking u dont aware about promt engineering sir .and also devin team decalred that all coding language is now changing to english language.. coding language will not be exist in future with in 3 years

  7. Just learn AI tools and get to know more languages and how to implement end to end and to learn domains, my dudes! We aren't getting replaced when we have creativity and knowledge! Thank you for your 2cents Telusko!

  8. Absolutely agree
Recently we have integrated our application with DigiLocker
1 complete month went for understanding requirements, UI / UX flow and data flows
Next month went for Architectural design and
Only last month went for coding which could be replaced by AI

So Thinking, Design, Architecture can not be taken away

  9. People saying AI is dangerous, AI can take our jobs in future, AI replace human in every field in future etc etc. But still why people promoting AI and didn't take action or laws against it?

  10. AI-Engineer :Dev-in
    Engineers: Dev-out 😂
The leading industry its already started using the demo run in future the fresher jobs may be fullfilled by AI-Bot .

  11. Most of the software engineers dont even know what they are doing that means are you coding all the time if any enhancement comes, do you think this ai tools can do it for you efficiently, as per my experience the answe is NO. I need to review it and i need to also know that what it has implemented its not like nobody will review the code and they will put 100 percent trust on it and if you talk about future, please understand this point by that time a lot of new things will come along new profiles will come out and since it will become easy, big tech companies need to acquire more and more client, so dont think about it if you are going down its not just you its us everyone even the companies will go down
