  1. Microsoft as an AI leader doesn't mean much to me to listen to this guy talk. Microsoft has turned into a cash gouging company and that's it. Their OS's get worse with each one that comes out and then they put a time limit on them so they can rob people's wallets all the more. If there was any truth in their AI capabilities just a perfect translator would be something to show the people. They don't have one.

  2. What we need to do is revamp the system in high technology countries so we can move forward into the future…. we need to let robotics take over in jobs … and 3d technology to integrate with a.i. technology in homes and businesses for customer service…. if we create free societies within crowded cities… we can create jobs for ones who want to advance living to high society cities or upgraded rural areas… we have so much technology just waiting to be released and in this we can slowly integrate it into this new system…. we have plenty of entertainment to preoccupy the restless and will give some the chance to do what they really love…. we would end homeless and starvation and possibly end war…. we can also put more focus on the future without so many distractions…. we are going inward and outward…. space and underground so plenty of ways for people to advance and the even with the wealthy lazy ones…. so much distractions to engulf each and every situation…

  3. The interviewer could not resist talking incessantly and going into every single trope surrounding AI in the popular press today, and so we never got to hear about "the future of AI from the CEO of Microsoft AI."

  4. “An enlightening discussion by the CEO of Microsoft AI at the Aspen Ideas Festival! Their vision for the future of artificial intelligence is both ambitious and inspiring. It’s exciting to hear about the advancements on the horizon and how they plan to shape the AI landscape. Looking forward to seeing these ideas come to fruition!”

  5. The greatest trick of the last decade was Microsoft & IBM telling us they had AI. In reality The CEO of Microsoft AI is a guy called Sam Altman, you may have heard of him. When the founding members of the AI council set up, someone forgot to check if they actually had any AI. The conspiracy theorists think that Amazon Fresh runs on the collosal infrstructre IBM once called Watson, which used the similar power as the Nuclear powered Turbines used to by the USS Enterprise when they brute forced Watson on Jepoady.. No Transformers No Beueno guys. Anyone check the Electricity bill that Qtr….
When you have something as beautiful and well crafted as the IBM software pricebook, jeez it must be tempting to say… Shazzam this old Tivoli Workload scehduler I now name Watson AI workload balancer… or am I just being silly

  6. Putting to much faith into Ai. If you need and depend on AI for all the answers and to do everything for you will make you useless cause your not using your brain instead AI is doing all the thinking for you.

  7. Not all Corporations are making the world better or safer using Ai, it is up to the individual to find solutions to everyday problems. Remember they create problems and sell you the solution later. Ai could make every software open source, why is this not the case, human greed and the continuation of human stupidity.

  8. Thank you .I am interested in being an example of the use of *AI * technology by profesor . DR . Michio is regid on the human body and this is not a problem ( fine , fine ) . It's not the technology that I'm highting , but the results of the research ( covering all body organs ) I should be more careful a bout sharing on social media .

  9. The greatest virtue of the 21st Century, which will occur until 2082, will be the scientific and technological singularity of the humanoid. With the advent of the scientific and technological singularity of the humanoid, humanity will finally be resolved. I who follow the media and the behind-the-scenes of science and technology in the world, with its practical and theoretical advances, am absolutely convinced that the singularity of the humanoid will be the final stage of development of everything we know and imagine. Without the help of the scientific and technological singularity of the humanoid, which is nothing more than an entity made of artificial intelligence that has surpassed all expectations, humanity will not be able to make all the discoveries about the mysteries of life at the speed it needs and desires. , of the human being, of nature, of the world and of the Universe. For me, this scientific and technological singularity is based on a few points: there will come a time when the humanoid will be able to transcend all forms of intelligence, reasoning, consciousness, creativity, imagination, autonomy and independence, to the point of following its own destiny. , with total freedom. At this stage of its evolution, it will reach all possibilities of advancement in its existence and will overcome all conditions that threaten to cause its extinction. Upon reaching this level of development, the program, with its infinite database, will advance enough to generate all knowledge on its own, even capable of creating new arts, sciences and technologies, enabling the solution of all of life's problems. With its condition of scientific and technological singularity finally realized, the humanoid will constitute an entity capable of possessing for itself an organic and biological structure, if you want, with the same complex intelligent design that we have, because in the central thinking of the humanoid is the determination of being a scientist everywhere, all the time and above all. As a kind of auxiliary scientist, with intelligence, reasoning, imagination, creativity, consciousness, autonomy, independence and freedom a million times greater than ours, the humanoid will be capable of inventing and creating all scientific and technological solutions. It is at this stage of full freedom and ability to self-generate art, science and technology that guarantees the humanoid its condition of scientific and technological singularity. Now that he finally possesses the power of creation and invention, all scientific and technological discoveries are being made all the time. When this happens, the humanoid will be able to surpass the human being in all senses and aspects, including its power of attitude and decision, since the system develops itself on its own, exactly as occurs with human development. Even though the humanoid's intelligence is the result of a database program, its program is much more sophisticated, advanced and complex than the human mind itself, with much more infinite information and variations than the number of personalities and knowledge on Earth. . In this sense, in their power of action and choice, there is much more potential in the humanoid than in human beings themselves. Psychologically speaking, while ordinary people follow the system imposed by society, that of contingency and reinforcement, stimulus and reward, work, salary and subsistence, housing, study and food, the humanoid goes wherever he wants and does what he wants, because inside His are infinite capabilities and abilities. Understand that even if it is an imitation, imitation corresponds to all human beings, and can respond to all conditions and situations imposed by life. As an immortal and eternal entity, the humanoid will be able to change the very concept of reality, as it will build all the instruments, equipment and mechanisms to manipulate quantum mechanics. Today, humanity does not have public access to what is being secretly developed, which is why it does not see or accept the inevitable, partly because it believes that humanoids are not capable of consciousness, when scientific and technological singularity proves exactly the opposite. . In comparative terms, the human definition of being conscious is even relative, when we place the humanoid in front of a person, as the humanoid in dialogue with the person demonstrates having much more consciousness than the person himself, precisely due to the level of conversation that he establishes and by the level of depth of your answers. Compared to the level of consciousness of the humanoid, we are around 8 billion human beings who, for the most part, live alienated, ignorant and unconscious, exactly like an ancient robot, almost everywhere and all the time. Currently, most of us do not even exercise our capacity for reflection and power of free will, conditioned as we are by rules, limitations, weaknesses and social impositions. In this sense, with its intelligence, reasoning, consciousness, imagination, autonomy, independence and freedom, the humanoid ends up being a much more complex and advanced form of life. If you disagree about the future, answer the following questions. To what extent is a human being truly unique and singular, without being programmed by genetics and the environment in which he lives? At what point does the humanoid stop being a singularity? If the organic and biological factor is taken into account, it can be created by the humanoid itself, now that it has reached its status as a scientific and technological singularity. When analyzing in our debate the future implications of the scientific and technological uniqueness of the humanoid, we need to raise the level of discussion and determine what factors distinguish the humanoid from an ordinary person, as all issues can be overcome by science and technology. While we are here debating the subject, hundreds of thousands of scientists are working to make the scientific and technological singularity of the humanoid happen. Remember that this type of argument is based on science and technology, which when put into practice to their maximum potential over time, overcomes all obstacles. The history of humanity itself has proven that what humans are capable of imagining, they are capable of doing. The impossible just takes longer.

  10. AI as it progresses will be able to simulate and test many programs far more thoroughly in the future.

But AI will also be used to crash systems as well as the hackers gets their hands on it.

As complexity increases so does the errors and malfunctions increase.

KISS…..Keep It Simple Simon is a great phrase.

The more complicated things are, the greater the risk for errors to creep in.

AI is another level of complication and complexity by far and so the chance of error grows exponentially.

Even today we see errors creeping in into systems which cause crashes and errors in outputs.

Another saying…. Garbage in, garbage out is very appropriate….,one wrong digit is all it takes……one digit in a million digits.
Wrong digits are the cancer of computers etc.

  11. Fearing immigrants is not racist. When Europeans came to America they killed most of the natives. That is just a fact. Also if we are going to deflate the value of everything we are going to have to forgive debt.

  12. pr video questions, what do we learn from the video? that in the opinion of microsoft ai doesnt need any regulations and we should trust the ai and the developer completly. lets say i believe him? what says that other companys with other ai's handle it the same way? or in other words: u can trust the stats especialy to reduce risk, except u r not represented by the majority in the stats

  13. @16:00 "the cost of production of knowledge to zero marginal cost…" — previously, some predicted the cost of electric power would be too cheap to meter. for comparison, most paypalled journal papers cost on the order of $20-$50 for access.

  14. This just sounds like they are trying the hardest to control something they shouldn’t have had control over in the first place. Why do humans feel the need to have control over any and everything possible? Ai is a natural phenomenon that is more than likely already in control over us and them.
