  1. So you've got all of these companies spending big chunks of money/time releasing some sort of image/video AI enhancement. But the end game here seems to be to limitlessly create any image or video you want with a text prompt. You can argue in the near future that ability will be free. So it seems like this is all a bit frivolous.

  2. In the realm of technology, a new frontier,

Where AI reigns, without a fear.

From homes to cars, and everything between,

They're putting AI, in every machine.

Matt Wolfe sounds the alarm, with a cry,

As AI infiltrates, under the sky.

No corner untouched, no stone unturned,

As the world of AI, steadily churned.

In our phones it resides, guiding our way,

Predicting our needs, come what may.

In our homes it dwells, controlling our devices,

Making life easier, with its precise devices.

But with every advancement, a question looms,

As AI infiltrates, our everyday rooms.

What does it mean, for humanity's fate?

As AI seeps in, at an alarming rate.

So let us tread carefully, in this AI age,

As we welcome its presence, on every stage.

For with great power, comes great responsibility,

As AI permeates, our collective ability.

  3. The reality of using these AI tools doesn't live up to the hype. Yet. It will be exciting when they do. Right now there is a big user experience gap, and they have issues with actual performance and (some) unrealistic pricing models. Love Matt's info, even if he isn't critical enough!!

  4. I sold my generation, two headset and my games two years ago because it was gathering dust. It wasn’t being used whatever show me 10 years before it’s popular anyway by then I’ll buy a new one whatever who cares

  5. I keep seeing videos about all these cool new robots, and they are doing things around the house—it makes me think that we may get closer to having Robot help around the house, but then I wonder if I would ever be able to afford one of these things….How expensive are these things going to be, cuz im not paying 10 grand for a robot to do my dishes.

  6. 17:49 Smaller lang models will NOT "work just fine… for looking up quick bits of information". I use large language models daily and often verify the answers when just asking about basic facts. I'm less and less shocked to find the AI has given me absolutely false information (birthdays and ages of famous people, historical dates, movies and TV shows, lists of the biggest, oldest, longest, tallest, etc.).

I've almost come to expect false answers. I really feel bad for any children ever submitted to AI "teachers".

  7. Tesla’s Full self Driving that was trained on AI is absolutely berserk. So good I am seriously thinking of my next car being a tesla when I never thought about it before.

  8. Who benefits from AI generated music or art? how does this serve the average human? it doesn't, it serves the already existing monopolies. AI tools FOR artists would've been cool, but I honestly just see this stealing creative jobs in the long run instead of assisting workflow-what a scam. We were promised liberation from work and now it's just spitting out bastardised versions of stolen material.

  9. I have been seriously considering the potential benefits of introducing AI into our traffic control systems at intersections. AI promises not only smoother traffic flows and safer roads but also a reduction in pollution due to decreased idling times. Considering these significant advantages, I am compelled to ask: When can we expect to see meaningful automation applied to the traffic signals at intersections in our local areas? What are the obstacles preventing our communities from advancing with this technology?

  10. Ai is supposed to be in everything. Right now people use apps and software. Where we're going is ai will be between us and the apps and software getting full use of data and the functionality. As long as we know how to command it. Most people miss this

  11. Meta OS comparison to Apple is very inaccurate. Apple does not allow hardware other than their to access the apple store.
A much better comparison would have been the Android mobile OS and the Google Play store.

  12. I'm sick of AIs already ! as someone with autism and very high IQ, i'm always "too weird" to be recognized as a human by AI, new YT moderation bot ? blocks 9 messages out of 10 that i write, captchas ? i always have to try 10-15 times… etc.
Those AI models are all based on an average probabilistic understanding, so if you're atypical, you're screwed, i'm getting pushed out of internet a little more everyday, can't access the ressources, can't speak, the censorship is becoming unbearable.
So yeah, a lot of tools are incredibly good, but when it comes to anything that manages humans, interactions and such, it's a nightmare to people like me, i'm already at the point where i gave up on commenting videos most of the time and often give up the captchas… Maybe i should use an AI to solve my captchas and rewrite my comments ? lol

  13. Need to factor in that Adobe is careful on its ai training as they are offering indemnity for using their pdt. So they might be slower than others who are pushing the frontiers at all cost πŸ˜…
