  1. Googles serch engine is TOTAL CRAP since the itroduction of AI… I've walked away from it and I encouraging tetsilets that I deal with to stop utilizing Google to lead buyers to their products… 90% of the searches I used to do in google returned 90% irrelelevant information!!!!

  2. Those AI freaks go ga-ga whenever they see something labeled as being created by AI. Saw one video where the guy spent over eight minutes hyping an AI-created "treasure." After tolerating his hype, the video turned out to be a big huge HUH? The story was vague, at best. Ended with some zany graphics flying. It was just under two minutes. Not to mention, it looked AI.
Heck, my cat can do better…while sleeping!

What is so revealing is what I have heard from other video creators. They do AI "creations" that have to be tweaked over and over until it looks good.
    More time wasted on re-edits.

Will AI ever be worthwhile? Oh, about the time Captain Kirk and the Enterprise are out in other galaxies.
Oh, Star Trek has an episode that shows how dangerous AI can become: The Ultimate Computer.

  3. Copilot be like: Me: Hey! copilot! Give me a scenario! Copilot: Sure bro. Scenario 1: the world was shining with moonlight and moonbeams and stardust were drifting like cosmos Me: …What? Copilot: M O O N B E A M S ! Me: No moonbeams. Just a normal scenario. Copilot: okay yea sure. the world was shining with moonlight and moon beans and stardust were drifting like cosmos Me: BRUH- 💀

  4. Yann LeCun's tweet hit the nail on the head. AI is still GOD AWFUL. It doesn't have a hint of "Actual" intelligence. While it can be impressive, It's all a facade. And flaws (such as lying and flat up making up supporting evidence) are INHERENT CHARACTERISTICS of Large Language Models. You CANNOT create an "AGI" system, Or any system with any level of "Intelligence" or that be trusted in ANY capacity with a Language Model. It's NOT POSSIBLE. That's an inherent flaw in what a Large Language Model "IS". If you want to make this type of system that is ACTUALLY "smarter" than Humans —- Which as someone who focused on AI in my computer science degree, That's almost impossible to Define in the first place – You F*cking learn this when you study AI at university, How utterly pointless and stupid pursuing AGI actually is —- Then you need to be using OTHER AI systems that deal with data at a more abstract level. Most AI work in High dimensional space, And are simple simple mathematical functions with complex black-boxed inner workings. Most AI is very specifically defined and work within a VERY narrow domain — The exact opposite of what "AGI" is. You need translation from a mathematical representation to some set of real world equivalence, THEN you can use language to elaborate, communicate, and interface with other systems.

It's astonishing to me how little "AI" these massive companies are putting into their AI systems. It's like creating a car without an engine — Roll it down a hill and it looks equivalent to a normal car, But without an engine it won't actually take you very far.

  5. Have been using Copilot in Teams for a while. It's really cool.
You can ask it to summarize what you missed in a conversation, generate action items, and the most valuable thing: summarize meetings. Those of you who have frequent meeting at work and have the tedious task of summarizing the meeting in an email will certainly LOVE this. Saves a lot of time for me.

  6. Been beating myself up a bit that I sold my 53 shares of NVDA at $374 each back in May 2023 and now it is at over $1,100. Now thinking of liquidating a few other investments to rebuy but afraid to do so. I also currently have 500k in savings making me next to nothing.

  7. Those results looks fake, I tested the same prompts on Gemini and it's answering correctly with no made up or non sense things . Maybe it's the reason Google blocks you.

  8. I thought the thumbnail alone was enough of an impression but then I started watching the video for some of the examples and was like "HUH!?!?" The giggling definitely added to the hilarity of these epic fails 🤣

  9. Funny mistakes by Google. But not as embarrasing or dumb as black george washington. The sky voice doesn't actually sound like Scarjo but the speech tone is of course like the movie. She doesn't have a case.

  10. You called it “Google’s Build Event”!!!! , 14:14 time. Matt you need to fix that or change that. As MSFT fan, that hurts and it’s incorrect. Please fix for at least journalist integrity. Thanks

    Love the channel

P.S. Dang!! You said it again at 14.33! WTH

  11. Hello Sir,
I have recently completed a project aimed at public welfare, and I am eager to make it open-source. I am reaching out to seek your guidance and want to disclose it to you
Could you please let me know the best way to get in touch with you for further instructions?
Thank you for your time and consideration.

  12. Google search didn't recommend anything. Google's "AI Overview" gave an overview of what was in the results. Click the "Learn more" to find out what the feature does. It's kind of embarrassing how many people have been getting this completely wrong. That comment (now deleted) was one of the most recommended comments on reddit for almost that exact title as compared to the search string. It would be like searching for idiocracy quotes, and then the "AI Overview" feature threw in some text about electrolytes. That's what is in the search results, that's what appears in the AI generated overview. It is not Google's recommendation. oof

  13. Jan Leike needs to experience now reality. There's not a single AI model that even comes close to being considered "smarter-than-human" yet. Being faster at accessing a data bank of information, even ones that far exceed the human brains capacity in terms of storage, does NOT make it "smarter" than a human, at least not by my definition of intelligence. Interpreting that data and being able to decipher and easily understand subtle nuance or the ability to connect unrelated, disparate information into a more complete and complex idea is easy for even the "dumbest" humans but only a far off fantasy for AI still…

So far with everything I've seen AI related over the last few years, I've become increasingly sure that the concept of AGI is either an impossibility, or so far away from our current capabilities that it doesn't warrant any thought or concern from us right now. To think otherwise is either delusional, ignorant, or too wishful thinking (your feeling depending on your personal views/beliefs about AI of course).

  14. ery unethical video. as much as i dislike Google for most things they stand for, their AI is actually pretty solid. all those images you shared of people sharing those answers, including pizza and smoking, are altered html screenshots. run those test yourself and you ll see. unsubscribed

  15. 10:40 and if someone sound like her, so what? Her voice was selected because we want to assistant to have voice like that, so is not her voice, but what we think should be. For me is BS, they don't advertise as her voice, and is voice of other person, do you even think what this person have now? Do anybody hire her, because some fames actor have similar voice… what bs world we living in.
and weriting "her" not "Her" could mean anything, if you want put oil to fire… your will , but it as you become mass media BS

  16. I already see the headline "Oh sorry guys I know we told you everything stays locally on your machine, but due to a bug we got the data anyway…."

  17. One thing about DEI: Ask Denzel Washington, Samuel L. Jackson and Morgan Freeman this question:
You have the choice between 2 parts in a movie , both pay the same, one is a part where you are asked for your talent, your skills because you are the best actor for the job the other is because they need a black actor for diversity reasons, Which part will you pick and why?
I think they will be very insulted by the DEI choice, because they are some of the greatest actors alive, they have SKILL, they have TALENT, and you would pick them just for the color of their skin is an insult to the sheer skills and talent that these people portray on the screen, at least that is my opinion but like I said ask them

  18. Why would a famous actress say no to a deal like that? I mean she could literally get millions of dollars for doing nothing, I mean if OpenAi is looking for a male voice they can use mine for half a million dollars a year, cheaper than any actor or actress, easy living for the rest of my life, I don't need millions and billions, just enough to be comfortable and a bit more, hell for in-kind contributions like a new Car every 4 years, the latest computers/phones/tablets, free fiber internet etc….I'll go as low as a quarter million a year
