  1. As long as a tool like firearms can be justified which actually does hurt humans, AI will remain open for people who value freedom.
The irony that the people who call it evil are the same people who defend the right to have weapons.

  2. It would be so cool if those earbuds hear someone speaking a language you don't know and translates it for you in real time. That way you can communicate with anyone in any part of the world. I think the technology is there and it can be done.

  3. I am fu{king sick of Suno V3. Every week when I get my "new releases you might like" on Spotify, it's cluttered the fu{k up with Suno generated bastard crap that has like five listens. Spotify needs to up its game in deleting AI generated content, ESPECIALLY SUNO!!!!!

  4. Before I even hear what he has to say about Google AI Chromebooks I already know that it's going to be like the Microsoft AI PC and want to record everything you do. Honestly I believe that these AI tools for the PC and the Chromebook are just fronts for Mass surveillance. Big brother is here and is living large!

  5. My AI Future:
Wake up. tell my AI I want Swiss Family type tree house villas (3 or 4 ). That over hang a lake I can dive into and swim to underwater entrances to caves with glowing formations, and Hot tubs. Then I am going to call my friends and tell them to come over and see my tree houses and caves. And we are going to party ass ! !

  6. They were demanding 20% of resources for the alignment stuff. That is a waste of resources. What they need to do is train physically based models grounded in reality to improve reliability, that is their true problem. The alignment concerns are just paranoid nonsense. The only way to make ai safe is grounding it in physics/truth and open sourcing it to be able to counter bad actors.

  7. is there anybody here who can put me in touch with an altruistic CEO with the hardware and capital interested in developing the next generation democratized artificial intelligence? I theorized groundbreaking new methods for redesigning the system. So please?

  8. I'm a recent subscriber and just wanted to give some feedback: I love all the new about the tech and your opinions on it, but I really don't like the coverage of the drama or business stuff. Obviously this isn't all about me, but I thought you would like to hear from your audience. At least you do a great of the show notes and timestamps, so I can hop around. Keep up the great work, I'll be sticking around for sure! โค

  9. Wow, that Perplexity AI library feature is amazing. Much better than using Bing to research a topic.

Edit: scratch that, Perplexity AI is great all around. Iโ€™ve heard the name dozens of times but never thought to ever visit the site. Looks like Iโ€™ll only be using ChatGPT for assistance with coding and data analysis.

  10. I'm on the autism spectrum and those voice isolation headphones seems like a great idea. I have major issues in noisy environments. It easily gets really invasive and breaks my concentration on top of being exhausting. I see a lot of use case scenarios in my life.
